Who is producing The Canon in Action Tour?
The Canon In Action Tour is an official Canon Live Learning seminar and workshop series with content created by the internal Canon educational team. What if I am unable to attend, can I get a refund?
The seminar can be cancelled at least 10 days in advance for a refund minus a $15 processing fee. The two Sunday workshops can be cancelled at least 15 days in advance for a refund minus a $25 processing fee Speedlite Intensive Workshop or Exploring DSLR Video workshop registrations can be canceled up to 15 days before the event for a full refund minus a $25.00 processing fee.
What time should I arrive for the workshop?
Registration will begin at 9:30am. Showing up early will give you a chance to meet and mingle with fellow attendees.
Will I be seated if I arrive late?
Yes, but you might miss out on the most valuable information. Therefore the earlier the better for best seats.
May I change my ticket from one city to another?
Yes you may. Please call us at 877-318-1032 US Toll Free or 202-448-2895 or email info@canoninaction.com and we’ll be happy to move your registration to another city.
What do I bring to be admitted into the event?
Please bring your e-Ticket or a copy of your receipt that was emailed to you when you purchased your ticket online. If you misplaced that, don’t worry; we’ll have a list of all ticketholders with us onsite—we’ll just look you up.
Are meals provided for those who have purchased the Daytime Workshop and Hands-On Masterclass?
We will not have food available as part of the class. Each location will have restaurant facilities on site and nearby that you can purchase food from.
Do I need to bring any gear to the Saturday Seminar?
Cameras are not required at this seminar.
However, you may find it helpful to bring yours to
follow along with menu and custom function discussions.
Can I bring food?
Please feel free to bring your lunch, and be courteous
of others and respectful of the venue's policies when eating.
Can I bring a spouse or child to the event for free?
Unfortunately, no. The event is a ticketed event and requires one ticket per person.
Do I need to bring any gear to the Sunday Hands-On Masterclass?
Please bring your favorite camera and lens, tripod or video monopod, plenty of memory cards and charged batteries, and a laptop. Most importantly, bring an open mind and energy to learn and grow.
What if I don't own a Canon Camera?
That's not a problem. The workshop is beneficial to all levels of Photographers and all brand users.
I forgot to put the discount code in when I registered and I already bought my ticket. How do I get the discount?
If you simply forgot to enter the code, please call or email us within 24 hours after purchasing the ticket and we will credit you the amount of the discount. ONLY discounts offered prior to or at the time of your purchase are applicable. Unfortunately, we are unable to apply a discount if it has been more than 24 hours since you made your order.

My company will cover the cost of the workshop if I can produce a certificate of completion, will this be available?
Most definitely! Upon completion of the event you will need to email info@canoninaction.com and we will email you a certificate.
